Irene was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. Irene provided bookkeeping services for three tire companies and a sporting goods company over a nine year period. She then worked for an accounting firm for ten years before opening her own bookkeeping company 45 years ago. Irene has attained strong business financial knowledge and leadership capabilities as a result of these experiences.

Kelly was born in Elkins Park PA and raised in Bucks County.  She attended Moravian University in Bethlehem PA where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics.  Her professional journey began in investments but transitioned to management positions in both property and retail.  From there, Kelly worked for the Florida Council on Economic Education, a non-profit organization, where she kept data/stats on programs offered by the council, and began her bookkeeping career in 2006 working for a construction company.  Her commitment to accuracy, her organizational and analytical skills, as well as her straightforward approach, are all strengths she has gained throughout her career.  Kelly resides in Horsham, PA with her husband, Dan, and her son, DJ. 

Jose Rodriguez was born in Ramstein, Germany and raised all over the world as his Dad served in the US Air Forces. He attended Catholic University in Washington, DC where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theater. He has been working as a bookkeeper for close to 30 years.   For 20 years Jose ran writer/director M. Night Shyamalan’s production company Blinding Edge Pictures working in all facets of the business.  His ability to listen, attention to detail and analytical skills allows him to help guide his clients through the mine field of owning and running a business.  Jose has been married 22 years to his wife Michelle.  Jose enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, as well as, his part-time gig as a parent taxi driver.

Sue Steen was born and raised in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.  She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University where she earned her business degree with a major in human resources.  She has been working as a bookkeeper for more than 25 years.  Sue opened two bookkeeping businesses in her career – one in Florida (BeanCounters, Inc), where she lived for two years, and one in Pennsylvania (Tallyworks, Inc).  In 2012, she closed her Pennsylvania business and came to work for Irene Birenbaum.  Prior to operating her two businesses, she worked in a variety of fields including accounting firms, human resources consulting firms, and management consulting firms.   She and her husband, Richard, have three children and four grandchildren. She currently resides in Lewes, Delaware.  In her spare time, Sue enjoys reading mysteries, painting, and bike riding.

Karen Chipin was raised in Bucks County PA. She attended Bucks County Community College and Philadelphia College. She has been working as an Executive Assistant for four years.  Karen is experienced in both the financial and academic fields, and has strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.

Christine Gleason was born and raised in Bordentown, NJ. She attended Mercer County Community College where she earned her Associates Degree in Accounting. She has been working as a bookkeeper for 25+ years. Christine’s has a strong background in accounting, payroll and human relations and she has worked as a bookkeeper/manager for non-profits, construction, retail and medical offices. Christine prides herself on giving each client individualized attention according to their needs.  She has three children and two grandchildren and she has been married to her husband, Steve, for ten years.  Christine enjoys spending time with her family, trips to the beach, and reading.

Consuelo Espinoza was born and raised in Lima, Peru. She attended Ricardo Palma University and Montgomery County Community College where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Certificate in Accounting. Consuelo has been working as a bookkeeper for 8 years and is bilingual.  Consuelo is a team player who is committed to attention to detail in her work.  She has been married for 14 years to her husband, Walter Ramos and they share two children, Sebastian and Sophie. Consuelo and her husband enjoy bike riding with their kids in their spare time.

Teresa Merrill was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Dickenson Business School where she majored in accounting.  She has been working as a bookkeeper since August of 2020. Her prior work experiences include over twenty years as an accounting supervisor for a large law firm in Philadelphia. Teresa is dedicated to her clients, detail-oriented, and a problem solver in her position. Teresa is a mother to three children and a grandmother.  She enjoys visiting with her grandchildren, going to the movies and traveling. 

Robyn Snyder was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA.  She attended Northeast High School where she earned her academic degree. She has been working as a bookkeeper for 13 years. Previously she worked in the Optical field as an Eyeglass and Contact Lens technician in manufacturing and manager of the Inspection Department for 40 years.  Her strengths are her dependability and her tenacity to maintain accuracy in her job.
